EXPRESSION, Saint-Hyacinthe Exhibition Centre presents Christian Messier’s The Valley of the Uncanny exhibition, which plunges the public into a zone of ambiguity, where the uncanny comes to life through recent pictorial works shaped with artificial intelligence. This unsettling dialogue between the familiar and the unknown is enriched by earlier paintings, echoes of his relentless quest for the strange. The whole creates an immersive experience that intensely challenges perceptions and shakes up our bearings.
